kathleen 'katie' o'shea

Woman with dark hair wearing a pink sweater, smiling slightly.

Katie Matters

Katie matters because she was a human being, and she had five children. She...
She now has two grandchildren that she's never gotten to meet, and her death, gorgeous appearance, now, death. It's fractured, and until, like, it's split all of us, like, you know, we were always close as a family, and it's just driven straight. It's just...
Just thrashed everything.

And we need answers because every day kind of sucks, knowing that, oh, it's another day of not knowing what happened to Mum. It's another day of not knowing or not having the answers to who took her from us, and, you know, it's also another day that, you know, I, you know, since my brother's had his baby, when he first had his baby, I started crying, 'cause then I just got so angry, ‘cause I thought, Mum needs to be here for this.
Danny should have his mum there for the birth of his child. Yeah. Tools would probably commandeer the birthing room.
You know, she would have been so thrilled, and, you know, to see Bridgie growing up, and these big milestones that she missed out on, and that we don't really celebrate anyway, because, what's the point? Katie matters because she was a human being, and she was a good mum.
