  I guess everyone will tell you like, you know, the individuality of the person and like, mum dedicated a whole life to helping others in Adelaide. She'd be helping out homeless. She would help refugees.

She rented a house. And it was like a safe space for anyone that needed a roof over the head or needed food or needed looking after. They could come to this place and then just basically take a load off.

And that was the kind of person that she was and doesn't deserve. And no one does. Doesn't deserve what she's had to endure.

Firstly, you know, being kidnapped and murdered and losing that position of safety within yourself, like just minding your own business and then being caught up in something completely outside of her control and had no business being there. But then got caught up in it. And then the amount of times that she's been let down over the years, she matters to us and on a bigger picture holistically, she matters to making sure that she's not just a statistic and a number on a sheet of paper that no one gives a shit about.

“That's why mum matters is because this is bigger than mum herself and she's just through even after passing, she's changing so many lives with her story. As soon as people hear it, like I said, I put up a TikTok and it's up to 700,000 views and like 30, 40,000 odd comments of people just hearing mum's story to go this is outrageous. She matters because she's changing people's lives and giving them firstly knowledge, giving them a safe space to go, this is what could happen in the world.

So, there's people that refuse to go to Malaysia because of mum and what she's gone through. So, holistically, she's changed in the world and we're, I guess, on the journey with her to try and continue what she did when she was alive, to what she's doing now.

Deceased - remains and belongings found in Penang 2020, what happened to Anna remains a mystery. The Jenkins family has filed a civil lawsuit against multiple parties—including the Malaysian Government, the Inspector General of Police, and the developer Berjaya Land—alleging systemic negligence. Legal proceedings remain active in the Malaysian court system as the family continues to advocate for a full, formal homicide investigation
